1 Overview

SwapWidget ("the App") is a decentralized finance (DeFi) trading tool that enables users to monitor cryptocurrency prices, execute token swaps on the Base network, and analyze market data. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2 Non-Custodial Wallet

SwapWidget is a non-custodial application. We never store, access, or transmit your private keys or seed phrases. Your wallet credentials are securely managed by Privy, our embedded wallet provider, and remain encrypted on your device.

3 Data We Collect

We collect the following data to provide our services:

• Public Wallet Address: Used to fetch on-chain balances, execute swaps, and display transaction history. This is public blockchain data.
• Device Push Token: Used to send price alerts and trade notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Trade History: Records of your swap transactions are stored locally on your device. Trade data (wallet address, transaction hashes, token amounts) is sent to our server only as context for AI-powered features. This data is transient — it is automatically deleted from our server immediately after the AI response is delivered to your device. No trade data is permanently stored on our servers.
• AI Chat & Analysis Data: When using AI-powered features (playbooks, chart analysis, chat), your transaction history, wallet balances, market data, and queries are sent to our server and processed through third-party AI services to generate personalized insights. Chat data is transient — it is automatically deleted from our server immediately after the response is delivered to your device. No private keys or wallet credentials are ever included.

5 Third-Party Services

The App and its backend server integrate with the following third-party services to provide functionality. Only data necessary for each service's function is shared:

Wallet & Authentication:

• Privy: Embedded wallet infrastructure and user authentication. Privy manages wallet creation, authentication sessions, and transaction signing within the app. Your Privy user ID and associated embedded wallet address are stored locally and on Privy's servers. Swap Execution & Pricing:

• 0x Protocol: Swap quote aggregation and trade execution. Your public wallet address is shared to generate and execute swap quotes. 0x Privacy Policy
• Coinbase API: Server-side spot price data for BTC, ETH, and other assets used in price calculations. No personal data is shared.

Blockchain Infrastructure:

• Alchemy RPC: Primary Base network RPC provider for on-chain price reads, balance queries, and transaction broadcasting. Your public wallet address is included in RPC calls. Alchemy Privacy
• 1rpc.io: Fallback RPC endpoint for on-chain price data. Only public blockchain interactions occur.
• Basescan: Used for linking to on-chain transaction details. No data is sent; only outbound links to view transactions.
• Base L2 Status Page: Used to check network health and incident status. No personal data is shared.

Market Data & Analytics:

• GeckoTerminal API: Token price data, pool information, and market analytics. No personal data is shared.
• DexScreener API: Token metadata, market data, and liquidity information. No personal data is shared.
• Alternative.me: Fear & Greed Index data for market sentiment. No personal data is shared.

AI & Analysis:

• Google Gemini Series Models: Powers AI chart pattern recognition and multi-timeframe visual candlestick analysis. Chart screenshot images and market context are sent to Google's Gemini Vision API for processing. Gemini API Terms
• DeepSeek Series Models: Powers AI trading playbooks, strategy synthesis, and the interactive AI chat feature. Market indicators, price data, user queries, and transaction context are sent to DeepSeek's API for processing. DeepSeek Privacy
• OpenRouter: Used as a routing layer for certain AI API calls. Data sent to AI models may pass through OpenRouter's infrastructure. OpenRouter Privacy

No wallet credentials, private keys, or seed phrases are ever sent to any AI service. Only public wallet addresses, market data, and user queries are shared for analysis purposes.

News & Sentiment:

• CoinTelegraph RSS: Cryptocurrency news feed. No personal data is shared.
• CoinDesk RSS: Cryptocurrency news feed. No personal data is shared.

Notifications:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Push notifications for price alerts and trade updates. Device tokens are stored on our server to deliver notifications. Firebase Privacy

6 Data Storage & Security

User preferences are stored locally on your device. Your public wallet address is stored on our servers to power sync and analytics features, while trade data sent for AI synthesis remains transient as outlined in Section 3. Server-side data is protected using industry-standard security practices. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

7 Data Retention

Local data persists until you uninstall the app or clear app data. Server-side price data and anonymized analytics are retained for service improvement. You may request deletion of any server-side data associated with your wallet address by contacting us.

8 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and export your trade history at any time from within the app
• Delete all local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling
• Request deletion of server-side data by contacting us
• Opt out of push notifications via device settings

9 Children's Privacy

SwapWidget is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11 Financial Risk Disclaimer

SwapWidget facilitates decentralized token swaps and provides market analysis tools. This is not financial advice. Cryptocurrency trading involves significant risk, including the potential loss of your entire investment. By using the App, you acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions
• Token swaps are executed on decentralized protocols and are irreversible once confirmed on-chain
• AI-generated analysis and playbooks are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as financial advice
• Past performance does not guarantee future results
• Smart contract interactions carry inherent risks including but not limited to bugs, exploits, and liquidity issues
• The App relies on third-party APIs and public data feeds for real-time pricing, news, and sentiment metrics. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or uptime of third-party data feeds
